I hollowed out the center of 2 little pumpkin gourds this morning and inserted tealights for our refreshment table at ladies' Bible study. Using a sharp knife to "hull out" the center and a melon baller or strawberry corer to make the hole the right size worked really well. A smaller hole would hold a taper candle instead of a tealight if you desired a more formal look. An inexpensive, but classy holiday decoration idea! :o)

Those look so cute! I have all my fall decor up now and I just love it. I just bought another fall scented candle today and have it burning now!
Nice to see you back! I was wondering if you could re-post your Lemon Poppyseed muffin recipe? I have lost my copy and have been craving them like crazy for breakfast. Thank you in advance!
