With Christopher studying the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt this week, I took advantage of the opportunity to include a yummy lunch along with the theme! I rolled out a tube of crescent roll dough and sliced it lengthwise into 8 strips. Then, I wrapped hot dogs with the strips and baked in the oven for the time on the package. My boys liked that I cut a small strip across the weiner 'face' and put in 2 small slivers of carrot for orange 'eyes'. Of course, I think the thing they liked best was dipping their 'Mummy Dogs' in 'blood' (Ewwww....ketchup, of course)!
